inside, outside, incline,mountain side……just…run.

you know, I’ve been feeling pretty crappy all day.

but I decided to go on a run, and about a quarter mile in, it started to pour. but I kept running for 2 miles. didn’t walk at all, which is a huge accomplishment for me.

and now I feel so good! my stomach ache and headache went away! running always solves the problem :)

and now I’m watching sexy men dive on the olympics. life’s good.

you know what makes me happy? this. I just went for a nice run, and I sweated through my shirt. I BARELY SWEAT at any time, and I sweated through my shirt. that means I’m working hard. :) I dunno, it’s just one of those little non-weight-loss-related things that makes me feel happy and accomplished. :) it’s not all about the number on the scale!

can’t wait to be able to run in just a sports bra.


okay, so I almost didn’t work out today because I went to the gym and it was closed for maintenance. but, I pushed myself to just go out for a run. but I ended up running 2 miles without stopping. okay, so this wouldn’t be a huge deal to most people, but I have never been good at running. I used to hate running. I don’t think I’ve ever run that far without stopping in…ever, actually. so it was a big deal for me. I’m gaining endurance which means I’m progressing and it’s just one of those non-weight related milestones that feels great :)

SO, moral of the story: don’t skip your workouts, because you never know what will happen! :)

motivation for me: thinking about the future where I’ll be able to go out running in just shorts in a sports bra.

everyone stares now when they drive by in cars and see me running, but then they’ll be staring because of something that I’m proud of.
